MY STORY

Pallas-Amenah  is a Los Angeles–based Writer and Project Coordinator with a background in entertainment and creative development. With experience spanning across the U.S., France, the UK, and Spain, she brings a global perspective to every project, bridging creative writing with intentional, collaborative execution.

 

Passionate about innovative and socially impactful storytelling, Pallas thrives within the intersection of inspirational artistry and excellence-driven impact.

EDUCATION

Pallas-Amenah graduated with an MA of Distinction in Film from the University of Kent, Paris School of Arts & Culture in 2022. In 2020, she received her certificate in Screenwriting from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. In 2019, she earned her BFA in Writing for Film, Television & Emerging Media from the Ithaca College Park School of Communications, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Pallas-Amenah is also a proud member of the National Cinematic Society, Delta Kappa Alpha, where she served as Scholarship Chair (2017), Secretary (2018), and Diversity Chair (2019) for the Pi Chapter. As a constituent of USC, Pallas also served as the DEI Chair for the USC chapter of DKA from 2020-2022.

EXPERIENCE

 

Pallas-Amenah currently works as the Program Director for Black Girls WILL Get Love, Inc. She has worked with other esteemed companies such as Participant Media and Lionsgate. As an undergrad, she interned with Showtime and Working Title Films, where she contributed to successful productions such as THE CHI (2018-Present), EMMA (2020), and THE HIGH NOTE (2020), providing script notes to shape creative direction. 
 

A traveler at heart with a passion for telling worldly stories, Pallas-Amenah spent the summer of 2021 as the Assistant to the Head of Post-production at Broadcaster Media in Barcelona, Spain. Later that year, as a Graduate student, she was accepted into the ECU Developing Artists Program as the Assistant to the Festival Coordinator of the European Independent Film Festival in Paris, France. Her dedication to uplifting Children's Media also found its way to The American Library in Paris, where she developed programs as an Apprentice and then as a Program Coordinator in the Children's and Teens' Department.

ARTISTIC FOCUS

Pallas-Amenah's interest in television began with Avatar: The Last Airbender at the age of 7. In 2005, her family finally had access to cable TV, and she and her younger brother watched every episode of the series as Nickelodeon prepared for the epic finale. Pallas-Amenah is deeply passionate about animated and YA genre media with the potential for social impact. She enjoys projects that are worldly, perceptive, and diverse, showcasing her pursuit of rich and purposeful stories. Her love for world-building, the fantastical, and dramedy has awarded her accolades in the Big Break, BlueCat, and Screencraft competitions for her writing.
